Grinding wheel machine fittings - flange
Flange plate is one of the essential parts of the grinder, the flange plate has the following requirements:
Abrasive cutting wheel flanges shall not be less than the diameter of grinding wheel diameter 1/4, other grinder flange diameter should be greater than the wheel diameter of 1/3, in order to increase the contact surface of the wheel flange and the flange diameter and width; pressing wheel around the size must be equal; the flange should have sufficient rigidity, fastening the pressure on the surface must maintain smooth and uniform contact; the flange should be no wear, bending, rough, crack, are not allowed to use cast iron flange; must be lined with flexible material cushion between the grinding wheel and the flange (such as asbestos, rubber board, cardboard, blankets, leather etc.), its thickness is 1~2MM, the diameter should be higher than the flange diameter 2~3MM, in order to eliminate the wheel surface roughness, increase the contact surface and wheel flange;
